Time for the "telling something about my self" bit.
I am a life-long student of Tao/Life and an archaeologist/anthropologist, environmentalist, anarchist, and bioregionalist. I'm working to craft a "Way of Nature" that combines these paths into a coherent Way to replace the currently dysfunctional Way of Western Civilization.
It's abundantly clear that present trends cannot continue in their current direction much longer. Nature bats last and is stepping up to the plate.
Some of us have embraced wu wei and Te as the natural Way of all Life. Our conundrum is that the way that civilization is structured disempowers our world view in its ability to resist the dominant Way and foster change to the Way of Nature. We live simply, being the change we wish to see in the world and we are largely ignored.
This is both a limitation and an advantage, as is everything. In being ignored, we have little power to effect change in the power structure of the dominant paradigm. However, in being ignored, we can live and spread our message without overt opposition.
As proto-mammals once overcame dinosaurs through patience and persistence, as the softest water wears away the hardest mountains, as the willow bends in the wind while the oak tree shatters, the Way of Nature will persevere.
